Today we had an urgent referral. It was from a support worker working with a lady who is under great stress - mentally, emotionally & financially.

Amazingly God had already provided the way for us to help her financially - hopefully this will give her a needed boost. Here's the story...

Due to an awful situation she'd recently moved to a new house in a village outside of York but couldn't afford to heat her house; something most of us take for granted.

She needed to buy a full tank of oil.

So she was cold and had no money to pay for the £250 needed to fill her oil tank to put her heating on.

Amazing God had already provided - so we could help.

In the bank account we had a sum of money that a couple gave towards "heating" - Brilliant. But it wasn't enough.

Last week were accepted for Charitable Status. This means we can cash CAF cheques. We were given 2 when the "heating" money was given; but we couldn't cash them. With these 2 cheques we have £245.35 - Thank You Lord.

God's sovereignty in this story is awesome. We could of been accepted to be a charity months ago or in months to come but God decided now. At the very time we had a referral for where the money was needed.

God is good all the time.
